The session will aim to provide an overview of the requirements in the documents so that Access consultants can provide their feedback and comments to Standards Australia so that the standard can be issued as final.
The speakers have been heavily involved in drafting the standards and will be able to share their views and background information on the requirements noted in the standards.
Eric is the principal of Eric Martin and Associates. He is an accredited Access consultant and sits on the Building Codes Committee representing the Australian Institute of Architects.
He has more than 45 years of experience as a professional architect in the private and public sectors, managing a wide range of projects.
Eric has developed a global reputation for his work in the areas of accessibility and heritage buildings.
Mark Relf is a past President of ACA, an ACA Fellow, an ACA Accredited Access Consultant and a member of the Standards Australia ME-064 Standards Australia Committee responsible for the AS4299 and AS1428.1 suite of Standards for the past 27 years.
