About Event

Update your knowledge on Hearing Augmentation with Liz Winton from Hearing Loop Australia.

The purpose of a Hearing Augmentation system is to assist those that have a hearing impediment. A Hearing Augmentation system takes a sound source such as a microphone or media player and transmits a signal to the ear of a listener.

The goal of Hearing Augmentation is to improve clarity of the primary signal while decreasing the impact of extraneous noise.

Hearing Augmentation is a surprisingly complex field with 6 hearing aid manufacturers in the market, Cochlear Implants and several different types of hearing augmentation.

In this webinar, we will discuss different types of hearing Augmentation and when they might be appropriate to recommend.
