Sophia is an accredited access consultant, SDA and LHA assessor, and registered landscape architect with 18 years experience across the design and access consulting professions. As an access consultant, Sophia has worked Australia-wide helping clients successfully deliver projects large and small, from complex public transport infrastructure projects, to high-density apartment developments, schools, and parks and playgrounds. During her career, she has gained significant experience in access auditing having been involved with numerous major access audits of hospitals, airports, university campuses and government buildings.
She has a long-standing interest in the link between our health and wellbeing and the quality of the built environment, and is an advocate for innovative design that supports independent access, use and understanding of the places we create by the broadest range of users possible.
