Colin is an accredited member of the ACAA, holds nationally recognised qualifications in access(Diploma),Building & Construction(Diploma), Building Construction/Building Inspection (Diploma), Accredited SDA Assessor, Accredited Changing Places Assessor, OH&S qualifications, a member of the Australian Institute of Building and Licentiateship of the City & Guilds of London Institute. Colin has a unique set of practical and technical qualifications and experience as an Access Consultant which started from a longstanding career in the Building and Construction Industry in the UK in the mid-eighties when he graduated from the City & Guilds of London Institute. He has both a sound academic and practical understanding of all areas of Access consultancy as he has dedicated himself to continuously upgrading his professional development to become a specialist in all areas of disability access. Colin’s extensive Construction Industry experience includes working for both the public and private sectors and as an Associate Director at an architectural practice where he was responsible for projects ranging in value from 1 million to 10 million plus. He has an extensive ongoing working knowledge and understanding of all relevant NCC Building Regulations, Australian Standards and the Disability Discrimination Act.
