I have a Diploma in Access Consulting from the Access Institute & completed the Advanced Building Regulation (Short Course) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Project experience these three years includes writing accessibility design appraisal and compliance audits, Performance Solutions, SEPP Housing 2022 audits, Adaptable Housing audits, Premises Standards audits etc.

As a long-time manual wheelchair user I can integrate personal experience with comparative analysis of other international accessibility standards and provide ergonomic and demographic statistics related to the prevalence and suitability of access provisions. I draw upon this to make creative solutions to assist clients to successfully satisfy BCA Performance Requirements with good integration with the design requirements for the rest of the premises.

My qualifications and experience are sufficient to be considered an appropriately qualified person (as defined by BCA 2022) in the field of Accessibility.

Due to my injury and condition in a wheelchair I do not work full-time to prioritise my health over work. This means I am often available for a quick turn around of work compared to other more busy agencies.
