Understanding Access Legislation and Universal Design in Buildings - 1 day
This course provides participants with an understanding of the wide range of disability access and universal design considerations that must be addressed in planning, design, development, maintenance and upgrade of buildings.
Livable Housing Australia Design Guideline Assessor Course - 2.5 hours
This course is for professionals who wish to undertake Livable Housing Australia (LHA) Design Guideline Assessments, to confirm that designs or as – built structures, comply with the LHA Design Guidelines.
Anyone can attend the course, however only specified professionals that meet relevant prerequisites can undertake the online, open book exam and become Registered LHA Design Guideline Assessors.
Understanding and Applying the SDA Design Standard Course - 2.5 hours
The session provides the basis for professionals who do not wish to become, or are not eligible to, become Accredited SDA Assessors, but will be working with the SDA Design Standard to design and develop SDA for a range of clients.
