ACAA is an incorporated association in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). In response to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Section 69 of the Associations Incorporations Act 1919 (the Act’) has been amended authorising the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held via methods of communication other than in person. This amendment overrules the ACAA Articles of Association Sub-rule 28 (2) General meetings – procedure and quorum thus allowing meetings by Zoom or other online methods only.

Accredited members unable to attend the AGM are invited to complete the 2022 AGM Proxy Form (Please log into the website to download this form first)

2022 Management Committee Election
As there were no multiple nominations to fill the vacant positions at the close of nominations for committee members on Friday 9 September 2022, no E-voting is required.
At the AGM, those nominated will be declared duly appointed.
After the AGM, the Management Committee will seek to fill the vacancies under the Articles of Association, Part III, The Committee 14, Sub-rule (4) In the event of a vacancy in the membership of the Committee, the Committee may appoint a member of the Association to fill the vacancy and the member so appointed shall hold office for the remainder of the term.
