This talk discusses the disability access requirements for Class 1b buildings, including rooming houses, boarding houses, bed & breakfasts, small student accommodation buildings and holiday cabins. In 2011, building and disability legislation changed to require most Class 1b buildings to include accessible features for people with disability. This workshop discusses these requirements and aims to help landlords and small businesses operating rooming houses, B&Bs, student accommodation etc., to understand their obligations.
