We are pleased to introduce our newest have ACA Fellow members in the 2024-2025 term. ACA thanks the Fellow members for all their contributions to ACA.

BRUCE BROMLEY
Our first Fellow member is Bruce Bromley. We had the chance to present him with the fellow membership at the conference however Anita and Kellie (see below) missed out on this presentation due to personal family commitments.
Bruce has given generously of his time and expertise for the benefit of ACA from serving as the Vice President of ACA for a number of years, to working closely with the website designer on the new ACA website to representing ACA in Standards Australia Committee FP-017 on Emergency Management Planning and most recently taking the lead on organizing our Access 2025 conference which was a huge success.
Bruce is an Accredited member of ACA, Accredited SDA Assessor, Changing Places Assessor, Livable Housing Assessor and a Director of Equal Access Group.
Bruce has over 32 years of experience in the field of accessibility and formed Equal Access Pty Ltd in 2006.
He is the lead author of Changing Places Australia Technical Standards as well as a co-author of the NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation Standards.
KELLIE MILLAR
Kellie commenced working as an access consultant in 1998.
Kellie became an ACA committee member in 2011. During her tenure on the committee, she worked as treasurer, the Victorian Access Consultant Network convenor and membership committee convenor. She also played a part in the development of ACA policies and procedures which were being developed at the time.
Information sharing has always been high on Kellie’s agenda. She successfully co-convened the ACA conference in 2015 which was held at the MCG, with the committee managing to entice Ed Steinfeld from the University of Buffalo to our shores to present on Universal Design.
Kellie has also played an instrumental role in the training and assessment of numerous ACA members through her consultancy work with Access Institute, training many current ACA members in the Cert IV and Diploma of Access Consulting.
ANITA HARROP
Anita was a member of the Committee of Management from the beginning of 2017 to mid-2022 and undertook the role of Secretary from the end of 2018 until she stepped down from the committee in mid-2022.
Anita was also a member of the membership subcommittee between 2018 and 2020
Other tasks undertaken during Anita’s time on the Committee of Management included: Supporting Access 2017 and Access 2019 conferences all the way from WA, and working to secure sponsorship for these conferences
Anita has been an active member, and chair of the WA Access Networking Group. Anita’s proudest work has been in her role as Editor of Access Insight magazine from November 2019 to October 2022.
