World Sight Day is led globally by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB). This event will be a #LoveYourEyes celebration of inclusion in every environment.

World Sight Day 2025 (WSD25) is led globally by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) and supported by over 200 organisations worldwide. The Melbourne WSD25 Breakfast brings this global mission to life locally, connecting it with lived experience, inclusive design, and community leadership. Hosted by Braille Tactile Signs Aust., the 2025 event will spotlight inclusive wayfinding, accessible environments, and visionary approaches to supporting people who are blind or have low-vision.

 

World Sight Day 2025 Event Details

Date: Thursday, 18th September 2025

Time: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Venue: The Junction, Swinburne University, Hawthorn, Victoria. Adjacent to Glenferrie Train Station.

Audience: Only 100 seats available for leaders and changemakers across access consulting, government, community, health, architecture, construction, education, and those with lived experience.

Please note that final RSVPs will close at 5:00 pm on Tuesday 16 September 2025 (or earlier if sold out). We encourage you to register early so we can accommodate any accessibility needs and finalise preparations.
